The Hunting Area
Hunting takes place in some of the region’s most renowned and game-rich areas, including Bwabwata National Park, as well as the surrounding national parks of Mudumu and Nkasa Rupara. Bwabwata National Park alone covers approximately 275,000 hectares of wild and largely untouched bush, and the area forms part of the vast Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA) – one of the largest conservation areas in the world and home to one of Africa’s largest continuous elephant populations.
The Caprivi region serves as a vital migration corridor for both buffalo and elephants, with animals moving freely between Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Angola, and Zimbabwe. The major river systems of the Kwando, Chobe, and Zambezi create lush wetlands and floodplains that attract large herds of buffalo and elephants, providing ideal conditions for classic hunting of old bulls.
